I used to live on fast food. During that time, I felt like I never had energy and to get through a day of work,I thought I had no choice but to drink coffee and caffeinated sodas all day long. One day, I met a new co-worker who sipped on water all day long at work but was always energetic. I asked her what her secret was and she told me that she used to be a "junk food junkie" just like me, but once she started eating healthy, she developed natural energy.
